Despite this hideous rain, we are doing well. No real updates to post but to let you all know that the buyers are doing their home inspection tomorrow morning at 9am. The house is in really good shape so we are not expecting much in the way of problems. After that will come the appraisal and then all should be set for July 24th.
No news really on the job front. Lance had a preliminary phone interview with a company in the San Francisco area. They are starting up something new and need a guy like him to head their team. We are still really focusing on Austin, Texas but if something comes up in California that is too good to pass up, we'd be interested. The problem with Cali is that the cost of living is not less than here. In some cases, it's about equal but in other cases, it's much higher. Houses in San Fran are really pricey -- 1800 square feet for $1.2 mil. We hope to get more for our money, but if the job is good, we'd make it happen. Since Lance had a few good conversations last week with studios in Austin, I'm still spending most of my time on Realtor.com looking there so we'll just have to wait and see. Patience, patience, patience!!
