We went to Beaver Creek up in the mountains this weekend for a little R&R to get away from the boxes. We had a terrific time! It's only a 2 hour drive and the weather was amazing. Sunny and 70 both days...
The hotel was right on the Eagle River at the base of Beaver Creek Resort. We hiked along the river on Saturday morning.
We went to Vail Village for the afternoon on Saturday. It is such a cute location... looks like an alpine village. We had Sadie with us and the whole town is so dog friendly. We just walked around and took in the sights.
We even climbed up one of the grassy ski runs to see the little snow that was there.
We tried to do a couple of family photos while we were there... the scenery is breathtaking!
The pool had an outdoor heated pool and two "infinity" jacuzzis.
The kids and I went in on Friday night and the kids went again before we checked out on Sunday.
All and all it was an amazing weekend! I did not want to leave -- mostly because I had to come home to the chaos that is still our house!!
