Lance is home... school is out... Summer is here!

Hi All,
Lance got home from California late late late on Wednesday night. He had a good trip... but he was really burned out from being "on" during the interviews for so long. He met with the studio a bunch of times and interacted with most of the staff there. He was impressed with what he learned. On one of the afternoons, he spent about 4 hours with a really great real estate agent, referred to us by the studio. She showed him all the neighborhoods, towns, etc. that would be a good fit for us. He liked a bunch of place he saw... they did go into about 7 houses -- some would work, some would not and there were two in particular he thought I would like... but one of those two was out of our price range. He came home with a verbal offer mostly all worked out and expects to get the full written offer on Monday. So we have until then to work out all the pros and cons to decide whether he and I should go out there together to give me a chance to look around. More on that later, I'm sure.
The house is still in limbo too but we are closer to a "good place" with couple #2. They are working very hard to get the financing in place and get us ready to close on the 31st of July. We probably will not need it but they also can allow us to rent-back from them, in order to go from house to house rather than from house to storage to house!

As far as the rest of our life... all is going well. The kids got out of school on Thursday, swim team has begun in earnest (Henry swam his first "A" meet in the rain this morning and placed 3rd in Breaststroke!) and we've begun planning our "farewell tour" of all the places we love around DC. Fredericksburg, St. Michael's, Williamsburg and more!!
